I had lost my job and quickly fell behind on my monthly bills. I took whatever jobs I could find but they had less pay. I had no choice but to use credit cards to pay for many of my bills. Once I was at my limits I could not use the cards anymore. I fell behind on the payments and as soon as I did they raised my rates to 25% on the cards. I simply couldn’t afford these payments. I called around but couldn’t get a loan to pay off the cards because there was too much debt and I didn’t have enough value in my home. I didn’t want to do a bankruptcy due to the long term affect on my credit.
When I called on debt settlement they told me what to expect and when to expect it. They told me the costs and I felt they were fair based on the results. It was nice that they sent out monthly newsletters. The letters gave me the information I needed to handle the phone calls from the credit card companies. I was not surprised during the settlement with what they said because debt settlement taught me what to expect.
Overall I am satisfied with the results in settlement. Beyond the actual settlements I learned how to keep my debt structure under control. I now know how to maintain my credit. Thank you for all your help and I suggest that anyone with too much credit debt call to see what they can do for them.
Thank you,
